A new attraction in Otočac is a virtual flight over the Gacka valley

In the Gacka valley, which recorded a 30 percent increase in tourist attendance last year, they are preparing another attraction. An airplane museum is being arranged at the sports airport in Otočac, and in one of them, which is renovating, passengers will be able to follow the entire flight and the Gack Valley from the air with virtual 3D glasses. The C47 Skytrain aircraft, popularly called the Dakota, played an important military role in World War II, but also in civil aviation. Croatia has three such aircraft and all of them are in bad condition. But the one on the island the airport should soon be renovated and given a new, touristic purpose. Thus, the sports airport of the city of Otočac gets a new purpose, for which the city secured money from European funds. They now have three airplanes in the museum, and they will also receive a MiG 21 from the Ministry of Defense. And in Dakota, visitors, with virtual glasses, to be able to fly over Gack as in reality. There will also be a small bar in the cockpit. More and more tourists are visiting Gacka Valley.
